Moin! I'm Andreas.
For two decades, my life has revolved around the development of games and apps. After studying "Internet Science & Technology" at FH Kiel, I moved straight into the gaming industry. As a developer, team lead, and technical director, I've had the privilege of guiding the creation of more than 40 games over the years, gaining rich experience in all phases of development.
Back in 2013, I started building my own small prototypes and side projects – primarily out of pure joy for crafting things. Over time, however, the desire grew within me to realize my own personal vision independently.
From this desire, APDev was born. As a solo developer, I want to create products that move people, bring joy, and become genuine everyday companions.
Experiences you'll love: non-intrusive, fair, and relaxed.
In a market that is often dominated today by artificial pressure, constant sensory overload, and manipulative mechanisms, I want to offer an honest counterweight:
Motivation over coercion
Whether playful exercise with the fitness app Dycit or cozy relaxation in medieval Dice Tavern, my apps use rewarding mechanisms that seamlessly integrate into your day without stress.
True fairness
I strictly avoid dirty tricks aimed only at ripping people off. Transparency and the trust of my users are my top priorities.
Approachability
I don't build my projects behind closed doors. Your opinions and feedback flow directly into my work, because in the end, the best applications are born from direct exchange with the community.
And off work?
When I'm not tweaking my projects or analyzing complex game mechanics, I love spending time outdoors to unwind – whether it's running, taking long hikes, or simply exploring the surroundings. Otherwise, I passionately immerse myself in good books or, of course, the world of gaming.
